2004-11-11, Third quarter of 2004 shows continued growth, strong rise in earnings
As expected, MAN Group earnings continued to improve. During the third quarter of 2004, it was possible to increase earnings before interest and taxes by EUR59 million to EUR148 million (2003: EUR89 million), while earnings before taxes rose by EUR58 million to EUR105 million (2003: EUR47 million).
 
2004-10-12, MAN Roland wins the contract for a large project in Great Britain
The Augsburg-based Web Offset Press Division of MAN Roland Druckmaschinen AG, Offenbach, a member of the MAN Group, has been awarded the contract from News International Supply Company Limited, London for a large project with a value in the medium EUR three-digit million region.
 
2004-10-12, MAN Group: UK Ministry of Defence nominates MAN Nutzfahrzeuge "Preferred Bidder"
The British Ministry of Defence (MoD) has nominated MAN Nutzfahrzeuge AG of Munich, an MAN Group company, Preferred Bidder for 5,000 trucks worth a total of € 1,600 million (£ 1,100 million). It has also placed an option for further vehicles. MAN's engineering has thus proved successful in international competition.
 
2004-08-12, Continued strong growth in business volume and earnings
The MAN Group registered a strong improvement in earnings during the first six months of 2004. Earnings before interest and taxes rose by EUR104 million to EUR220 million and earnings before taxes by EUR111 million to EUR143 million.

The MAN Group registered a marked improvement in earnings compared with the first quarter of 2003.
 
2004-03-04, MAN Group records marked rise in 2003 earnings
The MAN Group recorded pre-tax earnings (EBT) of EUR261 million for the 2003 financial year, representing a marked year-on-year improvement of 23% and exceeding expectations due to a good fourth quarter.
 
2004-02-12, RENK raises order intake, sales, and earnings in 2003
In an economically tough fiscal 2003, RENK succeeded in reversing the downswing evident until midyear by generating a strong H2 performance. Compared with the previous year, the key figures showed an improvement.
 
2004-01-15, Marked rise in orders at year-end in manufacturing divisions
In spite of a subdued overall demand for capital equipment and negative exchange-rate effects in 2003, the MAN Group was able to generate a similar volume of business as the previous year, in line with forecasts.
